The Aruban-born fashion designer, often referred to as the darling of the Dutch media, captured the attention of members of the press when he launched his first collection, Inspiration Amoureuse, dedicated to his five sisters in 2001. As the youngest of eight siblings – surrounded by his sisters who love to dress to the nines and accessorizing and also enjoy participating at Carnaval – he was exposed to “fashion” in all its facets from very young.
